Question on recording

Unread post by DMBartender » Mon Aug 09, 2004 3:01 pm

I've been on the boards for a bit now, but I'm pretty new to the recording threads, so sorry if this has been asked already.

I've been wanted to record something for a bit now, but I'm still not that great at singing and playing at the same time. I am wondering, with a program like cool edit pro, can you lay down the instrumentals and then go back over with the vocals?

Yes, it's called multitracking. Just click View->Multitrack in CEP.

My advice is browse the manual and experiment with it.
