need help........

ok.. i'm just wondering how my band should set up all of our amps and mics and stuff..

we have a bass player and his bass amp..
drums
me on guitar, and another guy on guitar into one guitar amp..
and a guy on vocals but we don't know where we should set up the mics for the vocals? should they be run through the guitar amp?..

i really don't have a clue as to how we should set this stuff up..
any advice is appreciated.

You need a PA system for vocals and seperate amps for guitars

yes, and if you plan on putting electric guitars through the PA, please please please mic them, don't just run a line out of the amp. I can't stand it when people do that. Amps need to breathe before you put them through a PA.
