Played a show tonight.

4 songs at a local venue. I don't want to say teen venue, but thats kinda what it is. I dunno. I played second of six, and here's my four song set.

Typical Situation (Solo)
We Both Go Down Together-the Decemberists (Solo)
Long Black Veil (Me + Mandolin)
Wagon Wheel-Old Crow Medicine Show (Me + Mandolin + Banjo and harmony vocals)

This was my first real show, and I got a lot of good responses. I'm pretty pumped so I figured I'd post it where I learned how to play guitar. Right here at DMBtabs.com.

Let me be the first to say Congrats man. Playing your first show is the best step to get up and over

I haven't ever played more than open mic nights at coffe houses and bars, usually with a girl singing. But where else you gonna play right?

So you gonna do it again?

that's awesome man, congrats.
hosting the oscars is like winning the heisman trophy. no matter how you do in the ballgame, or whatever, they can't take it away from you. and even if you kill your wife and an ex-waiter, they still have a hard time taking it away from you

that's awesome man congrats...now that you caught that feeling of being on stage stick with it and you will be playing larger and larger stuff before you know it

I too learned on these boards and with friends and now I am playing like 10-15 shows every summer with about 200 people at each. It gets addictive fast, you will be there before you know it.
