anybody got any suggestions for songs, i can play all dmb and all jack johnson, its just gonna be me on acoustic and another kid on bass

ha seriously though i hate it too.. happens to me and a buddy so much we call it the internet effect but yea i think it wouuld truthfully help us pick some songs for you so if u wanna give us some info

honestly one that usually gets things goin well is SMTS because for ppl who dont play it looks super cool cause ur hands are all over the fretboard and well its a fun song to hear too...idk if u wanna put that in

ben harper's burn on down is always fun. if you've got balls and can play it stream will bring the house down and jack's cocoon is a lesser known but great jack song, plus one sweet world l@lc style.

So much to say makes for a great bass/guitar duo...tons of funk when its just the two pieces. i've done it where the bass comes in first for a whole run through the verse and then the guitar comes in, etc.

burn 1 would be nice some ppl will really dig it im sure. i like taylor (JJ) too i have to say i think thats a cool song to play for ppl..

I didnt want to make a thread about my first gig, because it isnt my first gig, but ive got a gig on Sunday with my guitarist steve. were doing an acoustic set. check the setlist and add/remove if necessary:

Play what you like. Play what you know.

Remember, whatever you want to get out of playing out is what you should strive for. I mean if you're happy with playing JJ and DMB song then do it. I would advise you that you should never limit yourself musically though.
