Whoa, some weird shit... (must hear)

This is the place to talk about guitar playing not done by Dave! Topics about techniques, styles, theory, and other guitarists go here.

i dont know who this is. the filename says dave and ben but i dont believe it.

this seems normal at first... but its say goodbye with many diff lyrics and he says before he plays it that its a song without words yet. when was say goodbye written and could this be from before that? if so is it rare?

this is the weird one. it says its dmb, but i dont recognize the vocalist. the instrumentals are similar, but its sounds almost exactly like dave at the breakdown.

The first is most definitely not dave and most definitely not Ben Harper. It's some shitty college band, no doubt.

The second is an early version of say goodbye, but I it's not really all that rare. Can't tell you the exact show, but I've heard it before. Fuck he's mumbly when he doesn't know what to sing. :)

The third is some jackass's ripoff band. The guitar riff is to full for dave anyway. Breakdown is dave-ish though. But it's def not him.

Honestly, imagine you are in demand, you are famous, you ARE da' man. You're outakes and unfinished tracks are published on the net and reproduced ad naseum?! Being a star is grand, huh?
