Travis Picking

Unread post by MahlerGrooves » Wed Mar 30, 2005 12:37 am

I have been really getting into the music of Paul Simon lately, but his fingerpicking style has somewhat stymied me. A friend told me he does something called "Travis Picking," but then did not go into further detail.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks!

this is also a sick site for paul simon tabs as well.

Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead

This was already discussed by the Tranman recently and I believe the same links were posted.
