I am actually unable to smoke now due to a drug test for my job. And just to get the point across that I am not addicted to pot. I had to stop for an entire year due to random drug testing for a mistake in my life. I stopped for a year and then started when I was able to. you're a fuckin pathetic individual if you are flying planes and still smoking weed, even if you dont smoke while flying...I hope you dont have any kids you fuckin loser, get your shit together and grow up.

and for the rest of you shmucks, I'm pretty drug free....I take a sip of beer once a month probably...I am not for ANY drugs that put you in a lower state of awareness...I like the feeling of being aware of what the hell is going on...I dont need anything else, I feel sorry for your asses.
I guess you're saying Dave is pathetic too ? There is nothing wrong with not doing it but try and be a little more open minded instead of being so ANAL about those that do smoke. Beer puts you in a lower state of awareness. Your so wound up you could put a piece of coal in your ass and shit a diamond.LMAO Maybe you need to smoke,or get a woman.or something before you go to your next Nazi meeting.
hey jackass...dave doesnt have a job that puts people's lives on the line...that just wrong to do drugs when you have a job like that....that guy needs to wake up and cut the drugs if hes going to be flying airplanes..

He's not blazing in the cockpit. He made it clear that he was level headed whenever he flies.

that doesnt matter. god you amaze me....saying it's just fine for a pilot that flies your mother to smoke weed...it does have an effect on your reflexes...even after you smoke it... , who would have thought??

And your scientific basis for saying such a comment? Pot affects people differently. By no means can you say that if you smoke pot on tuesday that it will affect your reflexes on Sunday. This could be so for some people, but making a generalization like that.....especially when YOU yourself do not smoke pot is ridiculous

Guhh. I hate the internet.

It's like we need some sort of indicator for when we're just joking around or being sarcastic or whatever.

Wait a second.

Being honest, I just really hate smilies. :P

As for weed being addictive or not... the high from pot can be psychologically addictive. the substance itself is not, but I do know of a lot of people (and to a lesser extent, even myself for a short period of time) who managed to convince themselves they sort fo need the high to function...

I have one friend who is smoking 7+ spliffs a day (okay he's not all there but that's besides the point).. he has convinced himself he almost needs it to succeed.

That said, the nice thing about it is, whenever you decide to stop.. you can (unlike Cigarettes and alcohol)...

I know several people who got addicted on drugs , first starting with pot .... Don't say pot ain't addictive because it is , its a matter of willpower up to the individual , its like going to a party and get drunk , that don't necessarily means that you will drink the next day too right ?

Cigarettes , alcohol , pot , drugs , everything can but don't necessarily HAVE to be addictive .... Its all up to you to control it ....

Seriously people, weed is not bad. Im a very casual smoker...once every month or two. As long as its limited to recreational use, I dont see the problem...how many people do you know that go out and get violent or cause trouble drunk? I know a few. I dont know anyone who has pulled shit like that when theyre high. Does it make you smarter? No, it certainly doesnt make me feel smart. But I dont think its made me any dumber than I would be after a night of drowning braincells in alcohol, or getting concussions playing football back in high school. I guess just lay off. I respect your choice not to do it...thats fine. But dont talk about it like youre some kind of expert if you've never done it. How can you be so adamant about how stupid it makes you, and how bad it is, etc, if you havent tried it? Studies? HA. Right...so youre telling me you could read all about being in love (come on...it applies...some people are addicted to it, it makes SOME people do really stupid things, it is the root of a lot of psychological problems, and it just plain makes a lot of people feel good) and then tell me you know all about it and whether or not its a good idea, but you havent been in love? And your argument of "watching people and seeing how it effects them" doesnt cut it...odds are they were stupid to begin with.

"Just say yes, at least once." I hate quoting dave, cause its cliche and I feel like a jackass, but it applies.

So you think that people who haven't tryed smoking weed should do so because Dave says it ?

And for your note on whether or not people become violent on drugs .... How many people don't get off the hook with murder and such , because they can use the lamest excuse of all " I was high and not aware of my actions " its the most lame excuse of them all really ....

I don't mind people smoking weed if thats their thing then fine , as long as they don't expect me to do it :)

This thread is going nowhere

I think you should do whatever the hell you want to.....as long as it doesn't affect the safety of anyone else, WHO THE FUCK CARES WHAT YOU DO?

Why bother preaching to people saying that this is what you should do and this is what you shouldn't do...what's the point?
Is it necessary that everyone agree's with you?
Imagine we were all exactly same....all had the same views...all did the same things....How utterly fucken boring!

I sound like a hippie dont I? Haha.....we can all learn something from that generation... :D

Dusty, seriously. When was the last time someone murdered someone while stoned and used the excuse that theyre high? I cant recall an instance. And no, I dont think you should do anything cause dave says its cool. Hence my comment about not liking to quote dave. Nobody is expecting you to do anything...but I will say that you shouldnt make statements about how weed affects you if you've never tried it...cause you dont know. Thats all Im saying.
