i want a filetype that will play on my mp3 player.... i cant find one though

Go to http://www.download.com and download dBPowerAMP Music Converter. It's a great program, and can convert almost any audio file; and you get to choose mp3 bitrates from 96 kbps to like 312 kbps.

EDIT: Never mind. Just go straight to http://www.dbpoweramp.com and download it from there. I don't think it's on download.com.

that converter doesnt have .shn filetype

You have to download the shn plugin. It's there.

just use winamp... get the shn plugin.

to convert to Mp3 (which is a big no-no) just write out the flac or shn to disk in winamp under preferences > output

then take that huge Wav file and run them through CDex (free, awesome)

then rename all the mp3s. that what i do. I convert all my archive.org shows to mp3 this way

please don't flame me for converting, i resepect the tapers and want smaller files on my hard drive :)

I gave the JB Trio a decent listen, honestly I don't think they're anything special.

well i like his guitar work, the slide soloing, and i think the vocals have a real hook in them. not necessarily the lyrics, but like, i think i hum "company sin" all day long. i just do gibberish, i cant even hear what hes sayin, but i love it.
