I doubt it is from playing guitar.

Playing the guitar helped me stop smoking, It kept my hand and mind busy, taking away the erge to go out side for a butt.

Well, if you play flamenco style with tapping, you get finger calluses for rock climbing. Hell that's partially why I started guitar.

The acoustic guitar played at a medium to slow tempo slows down the heart rate, releaves stress, & stimulates brain activity.
This is a fact.
Heavy fast music does the opposite, increases heart rate, increases stress, and it increases addrenaline which in return actually makes you dumber.
probably true..but there's got to be a lot of brain activity going on in a shredder's brain. being that fast takes a lot of work, physically and mentally.

technically, if you are using these muscles, then you have improper technique
correct you are fatjack for the shoulder, but the musles in the hand of the hand holding the guitar are deffinately used. youhave to stretch your fingets apart and hold the guitar with your fingers and thumb. and you have to flex your wrist to get around to the front of the fretboard.

but yes, some of those are only very minimally used, especially if you're wailing around flamboyantly
haha

It was a joke......

I thought a guy who knew all the fancy muscle names would be able to recognize a joke.

I guess dave-dancing works your legs.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
