If you want the exact timing, sheet music style, The book "highlights from L@LC" has a reasonable tab of it. The tab is slightly different than jkanter's, but it helps your timing and placement of the chords.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Yeah, I rule....

I actually might not have the timing for the verse perfect, but the rest of it is good I'm sure.

i think dave changes the timing of the verse everytime he plays it. Its fun to mess around with and yours sounds good.

Thats why I always call it my favorite live song. It is a perfect example of a live song that has not been corrupted by overblown effects, wierd vocal tics, and obsessively long jams. Not that they're a bad thing, just its nice to hear a quality song without them for a change.

By the way, Billy, How do you get such perfect sound quality on your recorded guitar mp3s?

that's so weird to me, because everyone always says that I have good sound quality. all i have is my computer microphone pointed at the soundhole of my guitar, about 10 inches away, and i record with Cool Edit Pro.

Well you do have good sound quality, even better quality than that of jkanter's videos.
With regards to granny, I never worry about the rhythm of the verse. it sounds cool no matter how i fool with it. Just like DreaminBassMunky(I think) said: whats the point of trying to play exactly perfectly like dave when you can add your own creative style to it and make it sound just as good and not make it so anal.
I could be wrong, but I think he/she said something like that.
