I'm in the market for an HD-28. That Taylor is gorgeous...but I played one and it's a little too high-endy for me. If you're playing acoustic by yourself, there's not enough balls on the low end to really work.

At least that's my $0.02.

here here
If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures, to teach him to do some tricks. But ONLY if you're serious about adopting the vulture.

there's actually two new Taylor 914ce LTD with the Cindy inlay for sale over at the TGF market place, both for $3000. If I had the money I would buy one in a heartbeat. Absolutely beautiful guitars.......

oh yeah, on a whole 'nother topic, I think it is insane to spend 5k on a guitar that is worth not even half that. I know the collectability drives the price up, but are we collectors here or players????? I'm a player, and while a DM3MD is cool, if I want one I'll just go to the Martin Custom Shop and order one for $2400. I don't really need Dave's sig at the 12th fret to make it a "great" guitar.

well other than the 3-piece back not really. I guess the d-35 is probably what they based the model off of, but......different back wood, binding, headstock, fretboard inlay, soundhole rosette, pickguard, tuners, bracing, and top toner. Other than that, I guess you could say it's the same....

I agree with the player collector thing. I'm a player not to be confused with playa... ha.. i kill me... ok now that i've got that outta my system. If I had the extra loot I'd be a collector... but I don't so I'm just a lowlife player with a Seagull S6 bottom notch guitar. It is surprising though how many collectors there are out there. My brother has been in the luthier business now for about a year among making many other things out of wood jewelry furniture etc... and there are a lot of people out there willing to buy a muchos $$$ tagged guitar just to put it in their living room to look cool. Play much? No, just to make my room look cool... I couldn't imagine that... but if I hit the lottery (impossible, i refuse to waste money playing) I'll pay off bills and buy all the guitars I want.. then I'll be a playin collector... word...

Aren't those just the shows he has on CDR/DVDR and not the ones he's been to?

Beauford, your a good man in all but stop being stupid and telling us how much money you have. We all know you can get whatever you want and yadda yadda but its not what you play its how you play its the passion not the money you spent.
