So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I've recently started a cover band with some of my buddies and I. I've got the whole works except a sax player at the moment, we've got really good chemistry together and it's workin out alright, I was just wondering if anyone else out there in a cover band can give us some tips about getting our shit together, and you know just some start up tips or anything.
Thanks a lot
Dave

Play at as many places as you can. Advertise your band everywhere.

Thanks for all the replys...........We haven't decided a name yet (literally started about two weeks ago), and our drummers brother is going to record us a lil the next time we jam so I might possibly be able to get an audio clip chances very slim though....
Thanks Again
Dave

Write originals!

If you've got a band together that's talented enough to cover DMB, you ought to write some music of your own, y'know?

It'd be nice but we're only going to be a group for about a year because well I'm a sophomore in High School, and well the rest of the guys in my band are seniors so when they graduate they're not gonna stick around just to be in a band obviously, thanks for the suggestion though...

1. Write stuff. Even if they leave, you can always shop around with that material.
2. Practice. Get together whenever you can.
3. Have fun! The first rehearsals suck, but it gets better and better each minute.
100th post, by the way!
