I have a 12 string, but the neck is a lot thicker than a normal guitar, and so sometimes my fingers don't quite land where i want them to (it was free so I don't complain).

I've played a 12 string with a normal sized neck once and it was just fine.

My suggestion would be to pick it up and strum ...

I actually like just about all of Everyday, except Sleep to Dream Her. It never clicked right with me.

I'm trying to transcribe lyrics to the new songs, but he keeps friggin changing them. Of course, I expect that from a new song.

Which date are you listening to? I have all the shows so far (thank you, newsgroups) and have took some stabs at a few to find one I like.

Of the 5 now ones (including Thing) I think this could be my favorite, and so I've focused some time on it. Winglet's tab is spot on, but he left out the first chord. Here is what I use:

When I hit the 3rd chord I like to hit the open A really hard.

Of course, I'm violent with my strumming in the first place.

Also I like to mute the hell out of the G chord and only really actually strum down on it it once. Granted, its not 100% accurate but I like how it sounds and DAMMIT that all ...

Yeah, and it just sounds WRONG. Its much more appropriate and sounds a lot better with DDTW. I'm glad he doesn't do that anymore.

Throwing out a guitar just seems wrong. Restring it, and if it still sounds bad then tuck it away for the sake of keeping it. Then one day when you make millions you can have it put out it on display.

yes actually i was thinkin that he's playin a b on that string, but i didnt wanna say anything cause i didnt have a video to confirm or deny my suspicion, but when i play i just hit the b.

and yes, on benaroya he only strums each chord once.

crash. hands down. i first learned it and was all excited about learning a new song, but all i would ever hear was "play crash! come on play crash!" and i'd say, "no, how about something differnet... like warehouse or lie in our granves" and theyd just go "blah" and stop listening. then i'd hit that ...

i never bothered to learn raven before so i picked up the guitar, fired up the 2002-10-24 show and tried to learn the song going off what he polays and what the tab says.

i'm gathering that when you say the song doesn't sound right, youre talking about chord shapes and such? the verse hes playing ...

as for the song... well.... its different. whenever i see the name "paul oakenfold" i get scared... in the ps2 game 'frequency' his song gave me the most trouble on expert level ...
