i know you do not want to start off with The Stone or Tripping Billies, those two songs are incredibly hard to play, even if you don't play them like Dave does, The Stone especially is hard, go to you tube and check out the video of Dave playing it solo and you'll see what I mean

I would also advise against trying to play the song in standard. Like they were saying, the song is in Raised B tuning, like Oh and Stay or Leave, but with the low E string tuned to A.
