I know i'm new to the boards, but this thread got me interested.
I think it wouldnt matter how you conduct Satellite. Yeah, 3/4 and 6/8 have a different feel, being that 3/4 has three beats a measure and 6/8 has two... unless you really feel like conducting 6 beats.
