so here's me, the bassist, seeing a lot of negative feedback

now, don't get me wrong, i appreciate criticism, i feel it helps me make it better, but you guys must not have listened past the first song

that show was the second time i'd ever played "save tonight," and i was not so good at ...

I didn't think they did dreaming tree live...there was an instrument used in it that there were like two of in the world or something.
i could be wrong

Flamenco "Rasguado" as it is called is sort of an art in itself. I had some lessons with a Flamenco player many moons ago, and it was all enlightening compared to what I was doing.

To learn the technique you need to start very slow.

well, okay, say you want to learn classical style fingerpicking. that doesn't necessarily mean you are going to use it to play classical music, you could take that technique and apply it to a different kind of music. thats what i'm intending to do. i don't necessarily want to learn flamenco music ...

okay, so i did a search on this and got squat. I'm trying to get better at fingerpicking on an acoustic, and i figure that i should learn about this technique a little if....well....just cuz. if anyone has any links or tips or anything, they'd be much appreciated.
