But I did change my strings to 'Uber Slinky' kind, it's a lot easier to play. I think I had really shnitty strings on it. D'Addario, I assumed they'd work for me considering their violin strings are the best there are. . I was wrong.

more than anything though too you've got to project. theater actors who don't have the advantage of a mic do this a lot. projection does not equal volume. your voice should take over your guitar yes, but also you need to be sure that's it's not just something that's loud, but that is clear and crisp ...
