I'd agree with Willin and say that the guitar tone needs some adjusting. Have you tried putting it though a DI pedal of some sort?


I use the SansAmp DI pedal found here Acoustic DI

Also, I'd avoid playing a "Dave Set". Try throwing in some other covers and more originals ...

I agree that Tim is amazing, but, I'm just not a fan of when he plays with the whole band (at least for an entire show). I just don't think they always work well together. Sometimes, it comes together great though.

A Dave and Tim set, however, is perfect to me!

I remember an interview where he said he writes most of his songs while drunk, and obviously some of his songs have lots of drug references. I don't think he does that stuff as much now though.

I've heard a recording that Dave played where he was absolutely wrecked. It wasn't one of his shows at all. I thinke he jumped on stage between sets of another band.
