If I recall the 24/96 is only capable of recording 2 tracks at once or one stereo (panned left/right). You may be better off with a mixer. Both mics to the mixer and then out of the insert to comp. Either way you can only have one stereo track with that soundcard.

First off great recording except a few details. I am not going to comment on the playing or singing because I think you know it sounds good and that's all that matters. Although I didn't like the back-up vocals. Let's get to the recording. Are you using monitors? You need to turn the lows down a nud...

I am listening on a pair of yorkville ysm1's and I think if you turn down the lows (a little distortion) and the highs (somewhat tinny) you will have a cd quality recording here. The mids sound great. I am by no means a recording enginneer, but after getting these monitors you can really tell how th...

The minerals will dissolve into the wood, and yes eat away at it. I'm sure you have seen what chlorine does to your skin after a long day of swimming.

I had to get in on this as I am a chemistry grad student. Distilled water does boil and will not explode if metal is dropped in. Regular tap water contains mostly chlorine and traces of calcium, magnesium and flouride depending on where you live. As c_tietze said the other elements in tap water will...
