I couldn't wait any longer, so I downloaded it last night, with the intention of buying it, anyway. As much as I hate to say this, it's a good thing I did or else I would have ended up wasting $20.

My first and probably biggest problem with the album is the overall absence of Dave's rhythm guitar ...

I'm on my 4th or 5th time through the album since I got a hold of it last night. While I will still wait to pass final judgement, I do hear more of the signature DMB sound in this album then I did on Everyday though it is mired in what some might call "poopy" overtones.

I'm digging on American ...

Eh. It's debatable whether this album is better than Busted Stuff, despite the new producer. I feel like DMB's slipping back among all the bands who stem from them and yet have their own defined sound (i.e. Maroon 5 with similar blues roots with that r&b kick). They're losing the traits that make ...

By the way, that "wavering" as you so call it, Josh, is called musical expression . Maybe if you'd been singing since age 4 you'd know what it is. :P

if you say so, but i wouldn't call singing that low note so flat "musical expression"

and i believe the term you were looking for is vibrato ...

Pretty amusing comments so far but no one has broached the subject of the apparent juxtaposition this action has to Dave's own stated beliefs about the environment. To use the word "hypocrite" would be letting him off easy. This wasn't tossing your gum out the window. This was the blatant disposal ...
