I basically mean am I an asshole for saying, Dave doesnt play it that way, he plays it this way. The kid played a few dave songs and they were all wrong, so I told him and hes like, they can be played many different ways, kind of gettin attitudy. I wasnt trying to be an ass to the kid but, hes not ...

does anybody else hit the open E along with the 9h11 on the A string and then let the A ring on the 9h11 on the D string? i think it sounds just fine if your gentle with your strum

A little while back I remember hearing that Dave had recently purchased a new guitar and equipment from Paul Reid Smith. His name is on the artist page of PRSguitars.com. Does anyone know specifics on what kind of guitar Dave purchased?

I never knew this, but if he did buy one, it's for his own ...
