ex. Ok Clapton old love key of am.

But I'll play a solo..... And with each phrase I do ill start or end my phrase on the G or C or D.

For E I would solo using E, A, B for notes I begin or end the phrase on.

For G I would solo using G, C, and D I begin or end the phrase on.

They seem to sound good to me.

Can someone explain why these work if they do when the song is in the key of AM

Ok why do I think the 1, 5, 7, root note soloing works in the key of E and G as well.

I am making A JAM CD and was wondering if someone could help me figure out the songs keys for these songs.

I am just getting to the point of being able to figure out the key of a song, but still find it difficult.

*OR if you have any suggestions for good songs to solo over for the CD ...

does that mean most people sign better in the the key of eb???

If I tune down half a step but the key(or frist note) in the tune is a regular top string g ( or in this case tuned down to gb) am I still in that vocal range or does it only work in the key of ...

whats this with tuning down a half step, is it eazyer to sing with the guit like this ???????

so can one person play a chord progression using normal chords ( no capo ) in the key of c and one person capo the 8 and play on the e min position scale in the key of c and jam together?
