I was pretty surprised that I could! Some of the best songs have just a few easy chords... not everyone is as crazy as dave when it comes to chord fingerings. I remember the first time I saw the tabs for Trippin Billies..wow...

I didn't really dig the way it was sung...it doesn't work with the way dave plays this song. If you're going to sing in that talking manner, i'd play the song like the original bob dylan version, just a thought.

We weren't trying to play the song just like Dave does... Zak sung how he interpreted ...

the vocals seem a lot more like talking than singing. especially during the intro. it seemed like the singer was scared to hit some of the notes and just kinda brushed some of the harder parts away by replacing it with talking in a lower pitch

Would anyone want to record vocals and we could overdub guitar for an acoustic version of City On Down? I couldnt find a cover on the boards, I thought it might be fun! (I just can't sing well:)

If you count just studio releases there are over 70 songs, then there are live songs, a few songs that Dave and Tim play only and new songs from the D+F tour... oh and then add in the covers.

Yeah, LIOG is fun for me because I don't haev to think about playing anymore. After practicing alot the whole song comes pretty natural (picking/strumming) I say do whatever works for yah!
