one sweet world intro?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

That is actualy part of One Sweet World. It's been played since way back in the very early 90s. They don't play it all the time, and didn't for R2T or Live @ Luther College. The tab is on the site. It's only played live, and I havn't heard a band version of the song for the last few years that doesn't have that opener. It's a little hard, lot's of picking. I find it a lot of fun.

I can play it fine but somewhere in here something always sounds wrong to me

E:--------------------------------------------------
B:-----1-------0-1----------------------------------
G:-------0---2-------3------------------------------
D:---2-----------------0-0------3-0-----3-1-----1/3--
A:-3-------2-------1----------3-------3-----1-3------
E:----------------------------1-------4----------------

Sorry its a little screwy, code wasnt workin, anyone else get a little thrown here, I play it but it always sounds funny.

same thing happened to me jsgksu, but it really sounds 100% correct when u get it to flow the proper way...its kinda hard to explain, but you can't concentrate on those notes too much, especially the 0-0 on the D string, that sounds real weird at first, but it is right...hope that helps.

It's loads of fun to play. If you've taken serious lessons, it's pretty simple because it's some basic finger patterns.

I took NO lessons at all, just lots of practice, it's a simple intro, yet extreme amounts of fun to play.. Once you get it, those parts will all seem easier then you'd think they are.. Just don't be afraid to try ;)
