ISO: 2 up close for Tampa 8/9

Post by ibmanley »

hey everyone. i am looking for 2 tickets close to the stage for the Tampa show on 8/9. i have been to a number of DMB shows, but have never had the pleasure of sitting anywhere near the stage. being as this will be my girlfriend's first DMB show and she graduates college the weekend before the show, i would really like to get great seats for her (and myself). if anyone can help, it would be most appreciated. thanks

You also may want to try ebay. This isn't a really big ticket trading community for the most part.

attention, this is not my idea!

craigslist is also a good place to find tickets sometimes.

1. register a dummy username and offer to buy them (when you find them) at full price, email several times saying hey do you still have them, etc.
2. a week before the show, say that you can't attend or can't buy tickets.
3. with real username later that day, email them and say you remember they were selling tickets, are they still? haggle them down, which they will go with because of lack of time to sell them.
4. cheap tickets!
5. and therefore...profit.

do step 2 early enough to allow for shipping to your real username, but not too early.

I read it on here...apparently you posted it, judging by your predictably pissy reaction. You really need to chill.

I really don't think anyone would be mad at you if you had just credited it in the first place. The way you wrote it, it came off like it was your idea.

exACTly. even if you didn't remember who it was, you could have written something like "somebody posted this a while ago, but I'm not sure who, it's a good plan ".
