hey that's fine if you like squeaky strings and crispy bright tone. that's cool by me. you act like little girls aren't squeaky and crispy bright. i like the raspy broken-in sound and the smooth chords and riffs of the elixirs and five bucks says you wouldn't be able to tell the difference if someone didn't tell you they were playing with them anyways.

Oooh, did we hit a soft spot?! Its alright sweety, I'm sure your strings sound grrrrreat.

And your fingers are so soft! What kind of moisturizer do you use?

hey alright. you know what. both camps have their points on this. i would argue that mine is better but there is no need for name-calling. how many of us are still in middle school. i was trying to calm us down and say that there is no need to insult eachother or our playing styles and our gear. so give it a rest unless you have some constructive critism about any brand of strings.

Dude, chill out. I'm just giving you a hard time. Its just good natured, testosterone laden teasing. You guys need to fuckin lighten up. If you cant handle being called a sissy on an internet message board, I'd hate to see what happens when someone does it in real life.
EDIT: what the hell does "assy" mean, anyway?! How about "dickhead," or "cockface," or even just plain old "asshole?" Judging by your insults, I'd say you use elixer nanowebs.

Juuuuuusssst kidding. "Lighten up, Francis."

Nanoweb is a much lighter coating and is less noticeable so it feels more like uncoated strings but have the extended life of coated ones. This is from what Ive heard, I have only played the Polywebs myself, anyone wanna verify or correct that for me?

I thought you were the one that was being rude... I simply made a comment that I thought the strings sounded "sissy-like" - and i didn't mean that like a blatant and non-factual insult, i guess i meant they are WAY too bright for me... mbgreen made a funny comment about me saying "sissy-like"... and you trip all over yourself. calm it.

sorry, i thought you guys would pick up on me just playing along with the insults. i totally said something about not making stupid insults, and that we shouldn't be name-calling and being in middle school and then proceeded to call you "assy". it was all in fun. sorry. i thought for sure you guys would see how dumb that sounded.
i think we can all agree that sarcasm doesn't express itself well over the internet.
and to close i'd like to say "i use jergens lotion for my baby-soft finger tips and only assies wouldn't like elixirs"

yeah. the nanowebs are definitely better. but recently i went back to uncoated strings and i think i'm gonna stay with them.
