This is such a user preferance question..thought it might be fun. What pick size do you use for Dave songs?
Songs with a lot of muting and strumming such as Gray St, Warehouse, 2step, etc...I've always liked playing with a .46mm on its side. I like the tone it gives. I use a .71mm on pick style songs.
Yeah, I know that is the pick Dave uses (got one of his actually). I was asking what pick type do the members here use. Just an open type discussion question.

Yeah, that's what really stumps me, well it shouldn't, but Dave's playing is so tight and he gets such a cool tone by playing near the bridge in certain songs, but I am amazed how much sound and control he gets from those thinner picks.
~ And rain washed away all her tears and I smiled done away was the sum of all my fears ~
tortex .50 (red) and i have a few .6's around (orange) for most songs. a .4 nylon with 2 layers of duct tape for strummy stuff, and one of those small 1.5ers for the stone (thats the only song ive ever used it for)

i find that i get more control with the .5
i guess its just me, but i feel as though i have much better control over which strings i hit and at what volume with my .5er.
oh i meant to start a thread about that... what the hell is it. it says its a bow for a guitar that replaces a pick and has sound effects... i dont understand

It's cool, creates a magnetic beam/wave? and virbates the strings in a way that you get these phaser like sounds. You can get flute and harp like songs with practice.
Listen to Ghost by Howie Day, he's using an Ebow on that song.
