Two Step Ending Jam Tabs ->

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Two Step Ending Jam Tabs ->

Post by dmbguitar718 »

Hey everybody. I haven't posted here in a long time, but I've seen alot of people on different boards trying to figure out the Two Step Ending Jam. Well, this is what I've gathered from many different shows. So take this as you will, but this is what I've come up with.

Tim is in Drop D.

Code: Select all

*From the Boone show 3.29.03

(Dave)
e---------------
B---------------
G--10--10-10-10-
D--0---0--0--0--
A--X---X--X--X--
E--10--6--8--10-

(Tim, Drop D)

e--6--8------10---10-- -*10-10-10-10-10-12--10-8-5--
B--6--8------10---10-- --10-10-10-10-10-12--10-8-5--
G--7--9------10---10-- -----------------------------
D--8--10-----12---12-- -----------------------------
A--8--10--0-----0----- -----------------------------
E---------0-----0----- -----------------------------

Also try forming power chords to get that bassy feel. The possibilities are endless for this song.

This is just a general idea of the jam. Enjoy. :)

That sounds incredible. Is it possible that Tim is in drop D for Two Step? It sounds like I hear that low D ringing a lot of the time. Great tab, keep it up.

EDIT: As I listen to it more, it seems like he hits the 3 open strings of a D5 chord, as in drop D. Just my observation.

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

Thanks so much for tabbing that, I've been struggling to get it for a while (probably 'cause I was in standard). Thats a hell of a fun outro~!!

I think people are referring to that little riff timmy plays during the verses of the L@LC and crash versions
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
