Going to take lessons on a new instrument, preferably woodwind. Any thoughts?

well, other than saxophone (and in very rare cases the clarinet), most instruments with reeds dont sound good to me

so go with flute

how about an accordian(sp?). They have reeds, and I think they sound pretty awesome if played right.

i'd learn bag pipes. My old roommate in San Francisco played the pipes and he made a shit load of money playing at weddings and funerals. ABout $1k-$3k an appearance.
Also they were sick to have around the house, and the funny thing was he was a geeky goofy mother fucker, but the girls LOVED him because he was the mysterious guy that played bag pipes.
